How mangers have learned to lead, CIM Event
University of Central Lancashire, Preston on Thursday 22nd October 2009, 18:00 - 20:00This is a joint event with the Chartered Management Institute and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN).
Steve Kempster, Head of the School of Business and Enterprise at Cumbria University will be examining how managers are developing their leadership skills and asking the question, can these skills be learnt?
Steve Kempster originally worked with Crest Nicholson and CALA, then formed his own construction company, as a Chartered Surveyor. Prior to joining University of Cumbria, he was at Lancaster University Management School where he was Director of the Lancaster Leadership Centre.
Registration starts at 18:00, with the event beginning at 19:00 and is expected to finish at 20:00.
