Meet Helen

After graduating with a degree in European Marketing, Helen took her first steps on the marketing ladder at the leading value retailer, Matalan. Here she discovered a passion for all aspects of the marketing spectrum and the fast-paced world of retail. Her career in marketing progressed taking her on to food retailer Iceland, then easyJet, Europe's leading low cost airline, where she managed marketing and PR for Northern UK and the new German markets.

Beyond the big brands, Helen also headed-up and established various in-house marketing teams for independent organisations and SMEs, before changing direction to become a specialist marketing recruiter. Helen has successfully placed a host of talented individuals in roles of all levels and disciplines across the professional services, manufacturing, travel, retail, engineering and e-commerce sectors. Helen's genuine passion for the marketing industry and desire to offer a more consultative and wider service led her to co-found Marketing Scout to offer her fellow busy marketers a single point of contact for all of their marketing resource needs.
